This place is serene. Being behind the cabin, many visitors stop at the cabin and don't realize this wonder is only yards away from them. Every time we drive along The Motor Nature Trail, we are sure to stop here. Photos turn out differently each time we go, as you'll see that The Colors of Autumn was taken from the same place. From the graceful flow of the water to the surrounding foliage, it's a new setting every time we stop. There's a pulloff around the bend from the cabin and an easy walk down to the water. This was taken in the fall on October 25th. It was cool but calm. There were few visitors along the driving trail that day, which made for a perfect opportunity to take our time shooting this wonderful place.

Our goal in our photography is to capture, not only a visually appealing image, but also the detail of the scene. Although we can not deliver the smell, touch, taste and feel of each subject, we hope you will be able to look at the subject and let your imagination fill in the senses that can't be captured in a photograph, but can in photography. We specialize in waterfalls, cascades, and landscapes. Our work has been explained as a play on light and dark. We are self taught photographers who have been shooting images only since December of 2009. Pete has the added challenge of being red-green colorblind.
