Description

This place is serene. Being behind the cabin, many visitors stop at the cabin and don't realize this wonder is only yards away from them. Every time we drive along The Motor Nature Trail, we are sure to stop here. Photos turn out differently each time we go, as you'll see that The Colors of Autumn was taken from the same place. From the graceful flow of the water to the surrounding foliage, it's a new setting every time we stop. There's a pulloff around the bend from the cabin and an easy walk down to the water. This was taken in the fall on October 25th. It was cool but calm. There were few visitors along the driving trail that day, which made for a perfect opportunity to take our time shooting this wonderful place.
