Artist's Description
One of my favorite settings in the park is looking upstream behind Reagan's Mill. On this particular day, it was a cool June day. Just as we approached the mill, the sky opened up into a heavy downpour. We pulled in across from the mill and I took my umbrella and camera down to the creek and captured Behind the Mill, also available in The Great Smoky Mountains gallery from the home page. As I was ready to pack up the equipment, I turned to look at the mill. In ten minutes time, the rain was pouring out the sides of the millrace and the rain was beating on the cluster of flowers. I extended my tripod again and shot the scene like I had never seen it before.
