During a walk on the beach on Lover's Key, Florida, we watched this Osprey for quite some time leaving the next, then returning. I had just gotten a 300 mm zoom lens and was shooting anything I could just to determine the possibilities. I consider it a stroke of luck that I was able to capture this image as it's one of the first I ever took with the new telephoto lens.
