Description

John P Cable built this Grist Mill in the early 1870s. It was the only one of its kind in the area as it was a gravity wheel, using the power of the water from Mill Creek to weight the compartments of the wheel causing it to turn. Not only did he use it for grain, but also to power his saw mill as well.
