Our Story
Nunweiler Photography is an amazing married couple who fell in love with the mountains of Tennessee during their honeymoon in 2009. Since then, they've taken every opportunity to capture the beauty of nature as they see it, specializing in the elegance of waterfalls.
After every shooting location, they take a moment to put their cameras away before the return hike. It's quite common to find Pete with his arms around Kris as they gaze at the scene in front of them.
As Pete describes, "It's important to remove the technology and take in the beauty ourselves instead of through the lens." A stranger who crossed their path in the Dupont State Forest near Brevard, NC described it best when she said, "Some things you just can't capture on film, but you can capture in your heart."
Our galleries are grouped by geographic region above. We welcome you to view the art, and invite you to read the descriptions that, in some cases, fill in the senses that can't be captured in a photograph, but can in photography.
A picture is truly worth a thousand words, but a picture with a description is worth ten thousand.
